TEDOM

TEDOM s.r.o. was founded in 1991 in Třebíč as a private company with exclusively Czech capital. The main subject of its activities in those days was the development, manufacture and sale of co-generation units based on rotary, above all gas-burning motors. Apart from its own commercial activity, TEDOM manages and controls the operation of subsidiary companies, of which it owns the major part.
At the end of 1991the company TEDOM - VKS s.r.o. Hořovice started up. This became a developer and manufacturing factory of co-generation units.
Since 1992 co-generation units have been sold under the trademark MT, and these at an output of 22kW to 140kW. In 1996 the company introduced to the market an integrated-type range of units with Caterpillar motors of 190 - 3800kW. In 1997 the range of smallest units was enlarged by the introduction of the Plus 22 type. In 2000 the prototype of a new co-generation unit with 22kW output was introduced under the name Premi. At the same time the MT range of units, now named Cento, was innovated. By the end of 2001, more than 800 TEDOM co-generation units had been installed in more than 22 countries of the world |
